For those of you have known me for more than a year, you are aware that I like to change my hair. This week I was about to commit hair suicide because the cut and color was just no good anymore; I could not handle it any longer! I haven't had short hair for a long time and it just requires a lot more maintenance than long hair. It has to be cut much more often and I am just not used to this yet, nor do I enjoy it. It had gotten to the point where I was no longer having bad hair days but rather bad hair weeks which is completely unacceptable to me. Luckily Liz finally came back from her 4 million year vacation and fit me in to her busy schedule before I had a nervous breakdown. As you can see I went for a lovely rich dark brown color and a fresh cut and I love it! I am a much happier girl.
On a much sadder note, I have been needing to get my eye brows waxed for about 2 months but just have not known were to go and have not had the time to find a place. So Saturday on my walk home from work I found a salon in Porter Square that was open and had only customer (this should have been my first hint, but hey it wasn't like I was trusting them to cut my hair!). So they said they could wax my eye brows and I was stoked, FINALLY, I was able to wipe this off of my list of things to do. The excitement soon faded when as Napoleon Dynamite might say, "My eyes hurt real bad." Why you might ask...take a look!
HORRIBLE WRETCHED CREATURE!
Pay it Forward
Finally, those of you who read the blog get a little reward! Ami blogged about this, and I participated, so now it's my turn. The first three people who comment on my blog will receive a little gift (homemade...maybe) in the mail from me. Then they blog about it and send little gifts and on and on and on. I have already received the fruits of paying it forward, and it is definitely fun to get a little gift in the mail. Just so you know, I have no idea what I'm going to send. It'll probably depend on who comments. But that's the gist of it. Let the games begin!

Did I win???
Wow, your eyebrows look like they really hurt - are you sure they didn't just bite your face? Who are these people?
Your hair looks so cute.
We were so sad we couldn't make it to the concert last night :( I had a huge assignment for school due today and should have planned ahead better - but I'm glad you posted it online!
If your eyes are the windows to your soul, then you must be hurting inside real bad. Since you're a therapist, maybe you need to have a talk with yourself. Better days are ahead!! BTW, 6 inches of snow in the 'Ville and a nice 1/2 of ice on top.
Oh, Laci, your poor little eyes!! I believe that once upon a time, 15 years ago or so you and your mom introduced me to the world of waxing, of which I am still a bit scared. Love the hair!!
what the heck???? Even I can wax people's eyebrow's better than that -- and I suck at just about everything!
I never could get to you at church to tell you how much I liked your new color. It makes me want to keep my hair dark! Liz colored my hair in the fall and I think she is awesome with color!
I am so sorry for your horrible waxing experience! I noticed it at Christians concert, but I thought it was just some messed up makeup- I tell you this so you will think, "hey maybe it's not that bad". Then again, I could just be making it worse...
Ah, shoot, I'm number 7. Your hair does look beautiful, and I didn't even notice your eyebrows, so hey, that's good!
Hi Laci, your probably thinking I don't deserve to comment on your blog, but I just wanted to say hi. I read your blog but I am kind of a "blog stalker" and never leave comments. I thought I would comment on your very cute hair and your sadly tweezed eyelids. I hope you are doing well and I love getting to catch up on your life through your blog! :)
Ok, I know I am far from the first 3 people...but I just wanted to laugh at you and your eyebrows...hahaha...sorry, that looks like it totally hurts, but being the good friend I am, I would just laugh at you :) love ya!
