Ten years ago today I made a huge leap of faith and married this tall and skinny musician. We'd only dated 7 months before we were married. I look back at that now and think I must have been CRAZY; and I'm pretty sure I was to make such a huge decision which at the time, I couldn't possibly comprehend the significance of. It was a beautiful day filled with family, friends and tons of attention. It was a great time filled with memories of dancing with both my dads, watching my grandparents dance and just being happy. Christian and I danced to our wedding song, The Luckiest by Ben Folds and to this day I still feel like I am.
Somehow, even though we were terribly young, immature and still figuring out who we were, we have been married TEN years. Not just any ten years, but actually 10 happy years. We have hard years, but those hard years haven't been because our relationship was hard, it was because life circumstances were hard. For ten years, I have been completely happy and content with the groom I chose; I have never once regretted this naive decision I made. It was by far one of the, if not THE, best decisions I have EVER made.
Christian truly completes me. He is a wonderful, kind and generous man who supports me and treats and sees me as his equal. He has always pushed me to be the best I can be and encouraged me to do things even when they were not status quo. Where I am weak, he is strong and where he is weak I am strong. We are pretty different folks you know, but strangely it works delightful well.
I feel so lucky to have a spouse who completely adores me, I truly am the luckiest!
Happy 10th Anniversary to the love of my life.
To many more amazing trips to the moon!
I love you xoxoxox!

I loved this post. I will always remember when you married because it was right before we tied the knot as well. I'm so happy you are happy. You are an amazing example to me and I'm impressed with all you both have done. WOW!
You guys are cool. Congrats.
Happy 10th!
