All right, so I have to admit, I have not perhaps used some of my time during this maternity leave to the best of my ability. I have done some things that I am not proud of and I need to get them off my chest.
When Berkeley was just a week old, Christian went to our local library and checked out some movies for me. He brought home a series called McLeod's Daughters, an Australian drama about a pair of sisters trying to run their ranch after their father's death. I didn't think I would really like this series as it seemed kind of cheesy, yet after the first few episodes I was hooked! Next thing you know, I have season 2 on hold and then sped through watching that and travel to a library much farther away than our local library to get season 3. I just could not stop, these ladies were like family. Here is the confession: I watched 3 seasons in 3 weeks; 74 episodes at 43 minutes a piece equals 53 hours of my time (2 FULL days plus 5 more hours). I became so involved in this show that at the end of season 3, I was sobbing like a baby due to events that took place on the show, I was seriously shaken up. It was at this point that I had to put a STOP to things! There are SEVEN seasons available, but I have stopped myself from watching any more episodes.

Confession #2
When my mom and grandma were here, we bought these brownies at Costco and between the four of us we at this entire box in THREE days!!! These things are delectable, don't ever buy them because once you start....you cant stop.
