Yeah for Grandma(s)!!

My mom does not like to travel, in fact she will avoid it at all cost. She would much rather pay for a plane ticket for me to visit her than come and visit me. However, once I had little Berkeley, her second grandson she could not keep herself away! My mom came and spent a whole week with us last week and she brought my grandma with her.
It was so much fun to have them around. Of coarse my mom LOVES being a grandma and couldn't put little Berkeley down. I was quite spoiled as well, as my mom was great to do the grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, and all the dishes while she was here. She was a huge blessing from above!
Four Generations
(youngest to oldest)
Berkeley, Laci, Karen, and Lucile

Here is Berkeley with his grandma and his great grandma, they couldn't get over how beautiful he is and neither can I!

We did stay in and hang out quite a bit, I also wanted them to see a few of the sites the area had to offer (although winter is not the best site seeing time around these parts).
We made a trip to Salem, MA where we played with witches and pirates.
ARGGG!
I think this WITCH was trying to cast a spell on us.
We also visited Lexington and Concord and saw some of the history there and visited the cute shops and restaurants of the area.
I wanted my mom and Grandma to meet my neighbor Charlotte, who takes such good care of us, so we went to her house and she gave us our own "Boston Tea Party."
Moms visiting are good for lots of things, especially telling you that your bathroom is ugly and then helping you redecorate it! My bathroom has these beautiful turquoise walls and I had purple in there forever because it is what I had. However, mom told me that it had to go and I listened. This is what we came up with instead, I think it is pretty cute! Thanks mom!
It was wonderful having my mom and grandma come out and visit us! Berkeley loved meeting his family and is anxious to meet more! I miss my family so much and it is always a treat to get to spend time with them! Love you guys!

My grandparents told my parents see you in a few years when they first went to Germany - then I was born! It's amazing how the traveling bug can bight when a grandchild is involved!
