It's a girl!

My lovely and talented friends, Aubrey, Bonnie, Leslie and Courtney threw me a lovely shower to celebrate the upcoming arrival of baby girl. I am often in awe of the skills my friends have to throw such beautiful and breathtaking parties.  So many friends contributed by bringing the most delicious food for a luncheon.  I am blessed that so many women are willing to do such sweet and kind things for me.  I am forever grateful for the loving friends who have become our family in New England.

I just loved the painted pumpkins and the lovely fall flowers.  The mason jars were perfect for the warm apple cider.  Courtney even made caramel apples from scratch!
The food was amazing, with these ladies in charge, you never have to worry about a bad spread of food.

Just some pumpkin chocolate cheesecake squares, pumpkin mousse and gingersnaps for dessert.

So many wonderful friends were in attendance to support me; I'm one lucky lady.
Baby girl was rather spoiled with adorable clothes, sweet homemade blankets, a diaper bag, a wonderful supply of diapers and wipes.  I think we are just about set for this little gal to debut! Only 4 more weeks until the due date (but we are not so secretly hoping for an early arrival, perhaps she will show up on Thanksgiving like her mom decided to do 33 years ago!)

Family and friends all wrote things they were excited for baby girl to experience on these leave and they were attached to this beautiful tree and framed for her room.  It is such a sweet gift that I will forever treasure.

Thank you again to everyone who helped with the shower and to all those who attended and brought Baby "Ginger" Gentry so many wonderful gifts from the heart.  I love you all!
