We did it! We made it through Halloween without any problems. We managed to find time to carve a pumpkin, decorate the house spooky enough for Berke's approval, Halloween cartoons were watched and Trick-O-Treating was enjoyable by all who attended.
Berke and his little buddy Q always seem to be on the same page for costumes, last year they were Woody and Buzz from Toy Story and this year they were Iron man and Iron Patriot (aka Iron Man 3 according to Berke).
We did it!
We stayed up for all the World Series Games that started at 8 p.m. EST and what you know, the RED SOX won!!!
We did it!
Christian and I managed to escape as a couple for one last trip to Walden Pond, and after 6 years of swimming in Walden Pond, we finally walked around the entire thing. What a beautiful Fall walk; the colors were amazing and beautiful and the scenery was so peaceful and pleasant.
We even saw a beaver just taking in the last of the warm sun before it's too chilly to enjoy. Isn't he chubby and adorable?
This was the spot Thoreau's cabin used to be, 200 ft or so from the pond.

It is so pretty there! Next year we are coming to Boston! Can't wait. I love the pumpkin and that Thoreau quote.
So pretty! I love the Red Sox shirts on Berkeley and McDuff!
