It was wonderful to have my mom here for a week and to help us celebrate the New Year, Berkeley's birthday, clean the house, do the dishes every day and help us out. It was sad when she left, but it was great that just a day later we had Christian parents arrive. Even though it was a short two day visit, we really enjoyed having them here.
Christian and his father were able to go to Berke's preschool and do a music class. It was really so sweet to see all three of these Gentry boys who love music so much share this moment.
Berkeley loved having his family come to his class; after the music class he was able to introduce baby sister to his class. All the little girls in the class were super excited to see a baby, while the boys were interested but not that excited.
We took Grandma and Grandpa Gentry out to dinner at one of our favorite pizza places, Flatbread. Afterward we treated them to their first candle pin bowling experience.
It was a very fun night out and we are glad we got to spend quality time with them. Berke was adorable bowling and wanted his picture taken every time he bowled. His last frame he decided he needed his hat and gloves on for his "bowling group." This kid cracks me up all the time!
It has been wonderful having family around; we love being able to show off our little ones and enjoy the extra help and company. Now everyone is gone and the reality of life with two children is settling in. We are glad we have such a supportive MA family; without it we would not be able to make it!
